The chronicle of Bharat Forge unravels as one of metallurgical mastery and global resonance.
Travel back to 1961, a time when the industrial landscape was taking its initial shape and the foundation stone for Bharat Forge was laid by one enigmatic Nilkanthrao A. Kalyani.
The early years were robust with innovation. The identity of Bharat forge revolves around forging, automotives, energy, construction and mining, railways, marine, aerospace and defence industries.
The company’s journey reached new heights when it went public in 1982.
As the decades advanced, Bharat Forge evolved beyond national boundaries.
They acquired international entities like Carl Dan Peddinghaus (CDP) in Germany. This acquisition propelled them onto the global stage.
Pros in this saga are aplenty. Just to name a few, Bharat Forge has in its corner, global expansion, technological expertise and diversified ventures.
However, there is no journey without its share of challenges. The global economic shifts, especially after the Pandemic, presented a myriad of hurdles for Bharat Forge. The cyclical nature of the automotive industry did not help either.
The ability to navigate such waters required strategic acumen and resilience.
