Baazar Style Retail is the company behind ‘Style Baazar’ a value fast-fashion retailer offering affordable clothing and some home goods. The company has over 200 stores located in 9 states in India – most of the stores are concentrated in West Bengal and Odisha.
Baazar Style Retail was listed at the stock exchanges on September 6, 2024. The listing gain was limited, as the stock was already expensive – quoting a price to earning ratio of more than 120.
Inspite of the company declaring strong growth in revenue, the share price has continued to fall. At the time of writing this, Baazar Style was down nearly 50% from its IPO price and nearly 55% from its all time high of ₹ 431.
