Himachal Futuristic Communications Limited (HFCL) is a company lesser known for its business and better known for its involvement in the 1998 – 2001 Ketan Parekh scam.
The stock went from ₹ 30 in January 1999 to an all-time high of ₹ 2552.90 in March 2000 – before crashing back to below ₹ 30 by September 2001.
HFCL was pumped more than 85 times before it was dumped during the 2001 dotcom bubble burst.
